Most people today are buying the imitation rather than the original

0

At present, the local market is flooded with imitation or products that are copied almost exactly from its original. These includes branded bags, slippers, shirts/clothes beauty products, and many more. These things is categorized with class A, B or C wherein Class A is nearly the same with the branded ones. They offer it with a very low price that is why people now are buying the imitation rather than the original. One of the most popular product in the market are the gadgets like cell phone, laptop, ipad and the likes, touch screen gadgets and digital cameras. These things could destroy the industry but I could not blame the people patronizing these products because the original products are really not affordable for middle earners.

My father-in-law was bitten by my daughter's cat

0

Last Thursday when we got home, my father-in-law was bitten by my daughter's cat. His foot accidentally landed on the cat and the cat might badly hurt. After applying first aid to the injured foot, we rushed him to a nearby hospital. He was given an anti-rabies vaccine and a anti-tetanus vaccine. The anti-rabies which cost around $30 each dose will be given 5 times. It was a pain in the pocket, but just to be sure, he will undergo all dose.

At first i thought only dogs have rabies. Since exposure to rabies could be fatal, we should be careful with our pets in the house. The rabies virus can infect almost any mammal. It is shed in the saliva and transmitted typically by bite wounds. Without treatment, the virus eventually attacks the nervous system and may result death.

Women, do you Climax every time during sex?

0
Studies and surveys have shown that most woman don't climax during sexual intercourse. Now, i think the study of 'casual sex' only 19% of woman would climax. I want to take my own survey....do you climax every time? if not can you give a percentage? and not to be nosy, but is your partner the same or different each time?

Thank you for your time ladies. Men don't really have to answer, but if you want to share your experiences with pleasing your woman you're more then welcome, but remember, some women can fake it pretty good to make you think they're satisfied.

My mom and I

0
My mom and I have not always gotten along. In fact, we still don't get along half the time. But there is one good thing I can say about her. She is ALWAYS there for me when I need her. She's only a phone call away, and she'll listen to me ramble on for hours. If I need to cry, she listens and tries to cheer me up. I have been going through a lot lately, and pregnancy stress just adds onto it. Every time I feel overwhelmed, and just need to let my feelings out, I call her and tell her what's wrong. She doesn't judge me, she doesn't tell me that it's my fault, she just talks to me and gives me advice when she can. I have made it through 7 months of pregnancy because I've had her to talk to when I am an emotional wreck. Does anyone else call their mom when they're feeling overwhelmed?

Do You Have A Morning Ritual?

0
What's your morning "PRE-work" ritual like Or are you like me, where you totally don't even have one? I would like to be one of those people who wake up an hour or two early and start to run. I think that sounds amazing, although I just don't think I can motivate myself to do so.

I usually get up about twenty minutes before I have to leave, and get ready in that short period of time - drink some coffee, put some makeup on, take the flat iron through my hair a few times.. And then run out. For some reason I'd much rather get an extra fourty minutes of sleep rather than wake up that much earlier and be that mcuh more prepared.

What about you?

What's your morning ritual like?

My main portal to the web

0
Everyone wants to always be connected. Be it through email, IM, or various social networks like Facebook or Twitter, people nowadays want to always be on the loop and updated on what their friends are doing. Good thing todays gadgets are capable of letting you do so.

What gadget do you use to help you get online and check on your friends on Facebook, Twitter, YM, etc?

I use my Nokia N900 to go online. What I love about it is the built-in integration with various IM services. You receive IMs just like receiving a normal text message. It also has full web capability. so it renders Facebook and Twitter just like you'd see it on your laptop. What do you guys use?

Nokia N900 --- my main portal to the web. It keeps me connected to my friends via email, IM, and my social network sites 24/7.

New bunch of iPods

0
Ok, so Apple just released a new bunch of iPods. The nano that is a square with a touch screen. iPod Touch with a camera...what's next?

Here are my guesses:

iPod Nano:

The touch screen is going to get slightly bigger. and then bigger again. Finally, there is going to be a video camera. Apple is going to repeat the same process of the first to fifth generation iPod Nanos (the ones with the click wheel). Maybe wireless sharing with someone else that has a nano.

iPod Shuffle:

I think that it will have a shape change. Maybe into a circle and a click wheel. Then Apple is going to say that it's a new way to "fast forward" songs....

iPod Touch:

Bigger screen and a better camera.

iPhone:

hmm, accept the either the 4G network or LTE, but that's to be determined.

Fix the antenna problem completely.

True Love

0
What is True Love?

When I was a university student I fell in love with a friend. It was a one sided love affair and it lasted for years. He never reciprocated it but he treated me just as a friend. I mentioned it in one of my posts actually. I think what I felt for him was true love. For me true love is having this wonderful feeling that you couldn't explain exactly. Many people asked me what I see in him because he was not handsome at all, and he was an out of school youth while I was studying in the best university in my country. I couldn't answer the question that people asked me but I would always reply that I love him so despite the fact that he doesn't feel the same way too. Sometimes i would get hurt to learn that he's in love with somebody else, but still I allowed myself to love him more each day.

That was true love for me. Loving a person without asking anything in return!

What about you?

A Stronger Bond

0
Does the bond become stronger when you face problems together?

A few days ago my husband was cheated of our savings by one of his close friend. He is still trying to recover the money. But one good thing which has come out of this is that we have become closer and our bond has become stronger. I guess he is a little insecure now and hurt and he needs someone to be there for him and say that it is ok without blaming him, which is exactly what I am doing right now.

Our marriage has gone through a lot of problems in the beginning and it went to the point of breaking. But by god's grace we have been spared of that. Now I feel that he has started respecting me for what I am and has started to discuss things freely with me. That is a big step for him. It made me realize that facing problems together is making us get closer to each other. I do not wish for more betrayals, but it is nice when the relationship improves, don't you think?

Learn to show you love to your family from day to day basis rather than being too late if they are gone.

0
Would they know how much you love them? If your life were to come to an end today, would your loved ones know what they really mean to you? Have you made every effort to show them just how much you care? If you think that you have you may want to be sure of that. If you know that you could make some improvements in that area you may want to start today.

In today's world we get so wrapped up in making money, attending meetings and being a part of the social crowd that we tend to forget about the truly important things in life!

I have just recently gone through some big changes in my life. In my late 30s I am making some changes with my career and my my personal life that will not only help me to become closer to my husband but also to make a difference in the lives of my children.

Think about it, if tomorrow never comes, what is the message you would leave behind today????

Depression: causes and treatments

0
I cried and i destroy things then i can't believe myself that i can remember what i did, all was a problem to me getting out from a problem is praying every minute, every hour, just as long as i could till i find the solution to it. God is alive! He grants my wish to solve the problem that is why I'm happy now. no problems at all.

In many cases, depression"s causes are financial stress, physical stress and emotional stress. Financial stress comes in many forms such as the following: tuition fees, credit cards, house loan, salary loans, foreclose properties, bills and unexpected financial obligations. Physical stress comes also in many ways. First,if you have an inherited disease and acquired disease. To mention, If you have hypertension its very hard to have this illness because your activities can be limited. But the most top factor in physical stress is your lifestyle. Emotional stress can come how do we react to the different situations that comes along in our life that affects us emotionally and this can lead to mental disorders especially to the aged one.

Volunteer of the Year

0
I attended a Parent Recognition Banquet last night for my son's school. I was invited, along with one other parent from the class. I received an award for completing my family partnership goals, and also for getting the most in-kind hours. In-kind is volunteer hours. Head Start keeps track of how many hours each parent volunteers, such as being in the classroom, going on field trips, doing activities with the children at home, and also doing material preparations for the teachers, mainly tracing and cutting out. I had 99.25 hours, so I had the most for my county. I'm so excited!!!! I also got a pin that says "Volunteer of the Year". Have you ever gotten an award or any kind of recognition for volunteering in your child's school? Did it make you feel good? Did you feel appreciated?

I am doing MY part to help our planet!

0
Most of us have heard the phrase, "paper or plastic". But what about "Neither"? I recently went to Walmart and noticed that they now sell reusable shopping bags. They are only $1, and they are little black tote bags with writing that says "Paper or Plastic....Neither". They are really cute and I bought about 10 of them. I have included a picture so you can see what they look like.

I love helping the environment and I figured this is just one more way to do that. Instead of filling our landfills with plastic bags, wouldn't it be nice to have these bags to take with me on every shopping trip so I can use them over and over? It just seems like the most logical choice. Some may say that reusable bags don't help much, but when you think about all the people in the world, and how many shopping bags they go through in one week, it's easy to see that this could greatly benefit the Earth. I am doing MY part to help our planet.

Are YOU?

My Dream House

1
We just went and looked at a house today, and it's absolutely beautiful. It's our dream home. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a HUGE kitchen. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. The guy was so nice and seemed like he really wanted to help us get it. I really hope we do get it, because I would love to live there. Its right down the street from where we live now and it's closer to our son's school, which would make it more convenient. I am so excited I want to cry.

Inside

So truly meant to be. I’ve been wanting a red door eversince. I’ve planned of having the front door of our current house painted red while it was being renovated. But wasn’t able to accomplish it.

If you don't already have your own home, have you found one that you would like to have?
