What is True Love?When I was a university student I fell in love with a friend. It was a one sided love affair and it lasted for years. He never reciprocated it but he treated me just as a friend. I mentioned it in one of my posts actually. I think what I felt for him was true love. For me true love is having this wonderful feeling that you couldn't explain exactly. Many people asked me what I see in him because he was not handsome at all, and he was an out of school youth while I was studying in the best university in my country. I couldn't answer the question that people asked me but I would always reply that I love him so despite the fact that he doesn't feel the same way too. Sometimes i would get hurt to learn that he's in love with somebody else, but still I allowed myself to love him more each day.
That was true love for me. Loving a person without asking anything in return!
