Most of us have heard the phrase, "paper or plastic". But what about "Neither"? I recently went to Walmart and noticed that they now sell reusable shopping bags. They are only $1, and they are little black tote bags with writing that says "Paper or Plastic....Neither". They are really cute and I bought about 10 of them. I have included a picture so you can see what they look like. I love helping the environment and I figured this is just one more way to do that. Instead of filling our landfills with plastic bags, wouldn't it be nice to have these bags to take with me on every shopping trip so I can use them over and over? It just seems like the most logical choice. Some may say that reusable bags don't help much, but when you think about all the people in the world, and how many shopping bags they go through in one week, it's easy to see that this could greatly benefit the Earth. I am doing MY part to help our planet.
