Robbie's first day of Head Start

Today was Robbie's first day of Head Start. It was only about an hour, but he had so much fun. One of the teachers took the kids into the gym to play while the main teacher talked to all of us parents. She went over guidelines, emergencies, safety, etc.

I'm so glad he's going to school now. I think it will help him with his attitude, and hopefully get him to calm down a little. He's so hyper all the time, and he's also aggressive.

His first full day is tomorrow and I'm so excited. I think I'm more excited than he is! He will be gone for 4 1/2 hours a day, so it will give me time to get stuff down around the house, and also time to relax and take a nap.

I think I'm going to cry when I put him on the bus tomorrow. He's been away from me for a few hours before, and even overnight. But it's just not the same. This time, he will be in school, learning new things, while I'm sitting at home, waiting for him to return to me.
